A new discovery by scientists at the University of Sheffield has opened the door for a change in the packaging industry: people may be able to make interactive electronic screens on their packaging in the future.

Scientists, working with Novalia Technologies, have pioneered a new way of displaying information on packaging, a major change in the packaging industry.

The technology can be used on products that convey simple information, such as greeting cards, or on more complex products, such as installing timers at the edge of the package, triggering timers when unpacking to indicate whether products requiring timing have reached the time of use, such as hair dyes, pregnancy testing drugs, or homes. Court baking materials.

The process is as follows: first print the electronic circuit on paper, then fix a low-cost layer of electronic devices and polymer light-emitting diodes with conductive glue.

Scientists at the University of Sheffield and Novalia have also collaborated to design and construct a paper touch keyboard that allows users to selectively manipulate light-emitting diodes on a display.
